I live in and write about rural Scotland. The people and the places are the inspiration for all my stories – ordinary but intriguing people in a beautiful locations. And my stories all have happy endings, because that’s the way life should be.
Books are important. My house is full of them – see my favourite room (left).

Hi Gillian, I love that photo of a wall of books and a sofa in front. I feel I can just grab one and settle into those cushions for a hour or two. Please tell us a bit more about your novels and how you came to write them.
